Next two Sundays there will be rides leaving from the Lido car park after the break for Crystal Palace triathlon.

This Sunday (27th May) because of the Aquathon we are going to be leaving at 1pm from the Lido for a spin round Richmond Park. Hopefully the Sunday afternoon traffic won't be too bad but we'll be taking it easy on the way over. At the park we'll do as many laps as you can manage in an hour and a quarter before meeting back at the Roehampton gate cafe. Ride is suitable for all abilities but bring helmet, spare inner/pump and as it is rumoured to be warm something to drink.

Sunday 3rd June we will be meeting up at the Lido at the normal time of 9am for an intermediate level ride out of London on a loop around Biggin Hill staying within the M25. If you are stuck going round Richmond Park and want to branch out this is the ride for you. Pace will not be fast and nobody will be dropped.

The following week (10th June) we are planning a longer/faster ride out to Edenbridge so watch this space if interested.

Happy to answer any questions

17th June will be a 100km route which will is reasonably flat - only really one hill back over pilgrims way. A little bit of it is on busier roads, so make sure you feel comfortable with them. Pacing will be quicker, but not break-neck speed.

The route can be found here - http://maps.google.com/maps?q=http://www.trainingpeaks.com/sw/kml/X...

Any questions please ask.

Hey Tony,

Do you have a distance (or ideally a route) for the Biggin Hill ride? Would love to come but have plans that afternoon so need to finish by 12 - either back at the lido or somewhere on the overground that goes through to new cross gate.

I'll post a route when I get a minute - there are a few possibilities but most go out through Elmers End to West Wickham.

We should get back by 12 ish to be honest - although that may depend on not stopping too much and leaving the cake stop to the end which might be a good idea anyway

The one on the 17th sound interesting.. How quick is quicker??

Nothing too quick, but we aren't likely to stop, and we'll try and ride as a group to up the speed. Sure you'll be fine.
