Hi all - we were quite lucky in January with the weather - maybe I shouldn't have said that?
Anyway February's bike rides are all leaving from outside Brockwell Lido at 9am on Sundays.
Before coming on the rides please familiarise yourself with the club guidance attached.
February 5th
60-70 kms fast ride out round Biggen Hill led by Lee Randle. As a guide the aim is to finish this ride in not too much more than two hours - and there are some hills - so you need to be fit.
February 12th
Longer ride (around 110km) which I am going to leading at a steady but not slow pace. There will be a brief coffee stop at about half way.
I'll post the actual route before the ride but basically it will go out round Lingfield, to Edenbridge then back into London via Hever. Again there are some hills involved but if you are reasonably fit you should be able to cope but bear in mind the distance involved.
February 19th
Claire Summers is leading a ride to Richmond Park. When at the Park it will be up to you how fast and how many laps you do. But the ride to and back from the park will be at the pace of the slowest rider so it is suitable for all.
February 26th
As a few of us are entered for the Hell of the Ashdown ride there is no club ride currently planned for this date but of course if you want to suggest one feel free to post one on the Forum
Happy to answer any questions

Permalink Reply by Liz Williams on February 19, 2012 at 17:39 Yes lovely day and lovely course. Totally agree on that hill though - wasnt expecting it as Id been told it was totally flat! Glad the race went well for you. It was only my second 1/2 marathon and I really enjoy enjoyed it.
Husband was support crew today and cheering me on, not racing as he had a big rugby game yesterday so was a bit too stiff and bruised from that! What a shame for Charles - hope his calf is ok, great effort for finishing.
We went straight to Honest Burger in Brixton Village afterwards - great protein hit!
Hopefully see you soon, will get myself to training asap.
