Hi guys,

I can see by some of the old threads on here that quite a few guys have completed Hever Castle Triathlon in past years.

I am going, this coming weekend, to support my partner and would be really grateful of some advice on the best spots to support. I would like to get around to as many places on the course as possible.

I'm learning that it is actually quite hard work to be a good support crew.

Any windrushers racing this year?

I did the sprint last year, as I recall the bike and run are 1 lap affairs.  So probably, the best places to be are at the start end of the swim and transition area.

I'm not doing it this year.

Cheers Lenski.

I have been studying the maps and was hoping to make it around a bit more. I'll have to settle for one spot and a recce on the day.

I did the Olympic last year - it's a great race, beautiful course. The Olympic is two laps of the run and bike courses with a bit more for the run. The bike course goes all out in the surrounding area so not much chance to watch that. Id recommend standing near the run out point as you'll see her go by on the bike, come in on the bike, and then go past for both her run loops. Then leg it from there to the finish line which is quite nearby! You can also stand near the swim exit where it'd be nice to give her a cheer - the water is notoriously freezing at Hever (and I expect will be even more so this year) so she'll need some support then!

A few friends and I are racing but this is our first time so cannot offer any advice sorry!

Hope you enjoy, looks like it will be a wet one!
