Hopefully you'll all have noticed the launch of two major campaigns to improve cycling infrastructure/safety nationally and in London.

Londoners on Bikes aims to gather cyclists together to lobby the Mayoral and GLA candidates ahead of the May elections - you can read about it and sign up here: http://www.londonersonbikes.org.uk/

Cities fit for cycling has been launched by The Times, and is a national campaign to improve cyclist safety.  Read all about it here: http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/public/cyclesafety/

Both campaigns are getting good traction with cycling organisations, pros and national media - both worth supporting I think.

Shout loud enough and we might actually help achieve something here...

I signed up for the Times one yesterday.  The ghost bike on the corner of my road reminds me of cycle safety every day.

I had been wondering why there was a white bike locked on Streatham/Brixton Hill for months.. glad I know what they're about now.. will also sign up.
