Megeve Time Sportive
Hi All,
Myslef and a couple of mates did this sportive last June.
The organisers have announced the date for 2012.
Once again it coincides with the Dauphine pro race being
in the region. The date is Sun 10th June. Sorry I can't take
responsibility for organising everyone but it would be fun
if a few club members were interested in making their way
down and booking into an apartment near us. It is best to
book accommodation in Praz Sur Arly or Megeve
( the latter is more pricey !). I will probably head out on the
7th and back on the 12th.

It is popular but I don't think it filled up last year.
We did the 105km loop last year and with three Cols each
worthy of a place in the tour on occasion, it is far enough!

Looks awesome..........i'm already doing Le Mont Ventoux sportive and l'etape - i'll need a summer residence at this rate!

It is not closed roads but the cars can't really get past as there are more than 1000 riders !
I usually drive and its 12 hours door to door. Its an hour from Geneva airport if you fly.
I think it was about 60 euors to enter but that included a commemorative t-shirt and a rabbit stew and glass of red wine at the finish !
