I'm doing the Reading Half Marathon again this year.

Its the biggest half marathon in the UK and is a great event 'because' its in Reading not enspite of it.

The locals really get behind it and as living in Reading they are used to having a citywide traffic jam at the best of times anyway.

Its a good course starting outside & finishing in the Madjeski Stadium taking all the highs & lows (mostly lows) of Reading. Best of all its 90% pan flat.

Its only £33 and the organisation is military well run.

Free buses from the station to the start and I might be able to find room in my flat for the odd Windrusher if anyones keen.
