Anyone up for a Richmond park bike ride tomorrow morning?

Sunday rides seem to be getting rarer. What can we do to reinstate them?

I won't be able to make tomorrow morning (am off to watch the paralympic marathon) but a, going to go over tomorrow evening - should be there about 6.

It strikes me that you have just revived the Sunday ride tho! What time do you plan to get there?
Thanks Tony for replying. It's always good to have you there. No one else seems to know the easy traffic route to Richmond. :)

I'm keen on a 9am start at the lido if anyone else is interested? Let me know or I'll probably just head straight there. 9:45am at the park cafe is an option to meet.

Oh, 6pm won't work for my family. I Don't want to reopen the debate on my hard negotiated Sunday morning freedom :)

Have fun!

... Just in case there is no ride - I ride with Brixton Cycles Club on Sundays - starts about 8.30 from St Germain in Crystal Palace - nice bunch - give me a shout if you want to tag along.

Hey Ian

What sort of pace do they go..?. I might be up for it occasionally

Cheers

Hi Murray,

Following the AGM Clare Stagg and Lee Randle are the ride captains, and we have several ride leaders who have come forwards as well. They are in the process of setting up rides over the winter so watch this space! Sorry they have not been happening so much but with races, injuries and the off month things have been a bit thinner on the ground. Cycling is really important to the club so things will pick up again.

Thanks

Laura

Hi - with the days at last getting longer, I wondered if anyone would be interested in going on a Sunday ride with an earlier start?  Understandably, my wife would rather I didn't spend the whole of Sunday morning out of the house so I am thinking about a 7:00 or 7:30 start?  If there's one or two others who would be interested then I'm keen.  Not this weekend, but the 24th?  I've not done a club ride yet so it would be nice to learn one of the routes. Cheers, Neil.

its February... you are mental.

There's no such thing as bad weather, only wrong clothes.

Paul, Neil has signed up to cycle from Manchester to London in 24hrs. He's obviously not crazy at all! Seriously I will be up for earlier starts - this Sunday going out 7.30 but can't next two weekends
When I'm about I like earlier starts. Cheers

I like early starts. Less traffic you can do longer distances
