Womens Tri

Just watched the Sunday's Tri again on the box and was wondering if the planned domestic role \ plans went a bit to pot or if Helen Jenkins had an issue as she was up with the leaders on lap 2 of the run, but gradually faded - just one of those days?

Has anybody seen or heard of any post race interviews \ comments from the GB team or management?

I saw an interview where she said she has been battling a knee injury since San Diego and training in pain for the last 10 weeks. She just couldnt take the pace on the run she said. Lucy Hall did everything she could, but if Helen didn't get on her toes and into the break I really didn't see her winning. She is not a sprinter and with a big bunch finish on the bike it was always going to be a sprint finish on the run I reckoned.
